Per BP 9150, Student Board Member, a CUSD student is appointed for a one-year term by the Board of Trustees from August 1 until May 31. The Student Board Member may provide input on matters pertaining to students' ideas, viewpoints, and reactions, to the educational program. The Student Board Member may cast a preferential vote on all matters except those subject to closed-session discussion.
