The Network Services team is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the District's IT infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operations. Our scope of services includes:
- Data Center Management: We oversee the operation and maintenance of critical data center infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance for District applications and services.
- Firewall and Network Security: Our team implements and manages firewall solutions, intrusion prevention systems, and security policies to protect the District from cyber threats while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Wired and Wireless Infrastructure: We manage and optimize the District's wired and wireless networks, providing seamless connectivity and performance across all school sites.
- Active Directory Services: We administer Active Directory for authentication, authorization, and identity management, supporting user access to District resources securely and efficiently.
- Content Filtering: Utilizing advanced filtering technologies, we enforce compliance with content access policies, ensuring secure and CIPA-compliant browsing experiences for all users.
- Server Management: We maintain and monitor physical and virtual servers to ensure their availability, security, and optimal performance, supporting critical applications.
- Surveillance System Support: Our team provides technical support and management of surveillance systems to ensure the security and monitoring of District facilities.
- User Account Management: We handle user provisioning, access control, and account maintenance to facilitate secure and efficient IT resource usage.
- Email Services: We manage the District's email systems, including archiving, spam filtering, and phishing protection, to ensure reliable communication and compliance with data retention policies.
- Application and Software Deployment: Our team deploys and maintains essential software and applications, ensuring compatibility, security, and performance across the District.
- IP Phone System Management: We administer and support the District's VoIP phone system, ensuring reliable communication capabilities for staff and departments.
