Instructions for Reasonable Assurance (2024-25 School Year)
I. CUSD District Password Resets (if needed):

II. Signing in to the MyCUSD web page:
• Open an Incognito (Chrome), Private Browsing (Apple Safari), InPrivate (Edge), or Private Browsing (Firefox) window in your chosen web browser.
• Copy or type the following address https://mycusd.capousd.org/ into the address bar of the new browser window and hit enter. Be sure to include the “s” in https.
• You may be presented with a Web VPN window. If so, click ‘Single Sign-On’.
• Login to the Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) dialogue box that comes up using your full district email address and password INCLUDING “@capousd.org”.
• You may be asked to enter the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) code sent to your cell phone via text message. This should complete the SSO login process and send you to the CUSD Web VPN landing page.
• Click on the “Reasonable Assurance” bookmark.
• A smaller MyCUSD sign-in dialogue box should pop up asking you to login a second time. Use your district username WITHOUT “@capousd.org” (e.g. JASMITH) and password.
III. Once the Reasonable Assurance section appears:
• Click on the word “SELECT” that is located under your name and in front of your position (about halfway down the screen).
• Once you click “SELECT”, the notice appears.
• Scroll down until you are presented with the question:
‘Please select an option below, and click the button on the bottom of this form to submit with your electronic signature:’
Select “Yes” or “No”.
• Scroll down until you are presented with the question:
‘Should the need arise, please indicate if you are willing to voluntarily transfer to a different location:’
Select “Yes” or “No”.
• At the bottom of the page click on the button that states “Electronically sign this document and save my response.”.
• Once complete you will see the notice “You have completed your reasonable assurance for the 2024-2025 school year.”
