Calling All Role Model Peers!
We are looking for three and four year olds to attend our early childhood special education SEALS classrooms as role model peers!
Our goal is to increase the inclusion of children with disabilities, and to have typical peers serve as appropriate models. We are looking for role model peers with the following characteristics:
- Good language skills,
- Good social skills,
- Toilet trained,
- Independent in self-help skills,
- Initiates play and conversation with other children,
- Follows the classroom routine with minimal prompting

- Less disruptive/inappropriate classroom behavior,
- Viewed as more socially skillful by teachers and parents,
- Exposure to same curriculum as general education preschool,
- Participation in the Role Model program is FREE for participants

- George White Elementary School
- Lobo Elementary School
- Wagon Wheel Elementary School
